This is a book of devotional writings divided into three sections: Lessons in Faith, Lessons in Hope and Lessons in Love. This devotional trilogy, is a palatable blend of inspirational pictures, exciting testimonies from the author’s life, occasional Hebrew and Greek word study, prophetic words and encouragements that will be a source of comfort and strength to the storm-tossed, grief-stricken soul.

The Holy Spirit will speak to the reader in ways that will draw him into greater realms of intimacy with God as he walks in the midst of trouble and pain. Not all deliverance is instant. One may find themselves in a prolonged difficult season before “the day breaks and the shadows flee.” What does one do in the meantime? This book will help answer that question.
About The Author
Christine Christopher
Christy Christopher is a speaker for women’s events, conferences and retreats. She has authored two books, Until the Day Breaks and the Shadows Flee-a devotional trilogy of faith, hope, and love, and, Incredible Intervention-living life in the miracles of God.
In Matthew 6:10 Jesus prayed, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Christy’s passion is to answer the call to bring the kingdom of God to earth as it is in heaven. This means bringing the message of Jesus Christ and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit!
Christy is on staff at Carol McLeod Ministries. She leads the prayer ministry as well as co-leads “Warrior Moms”- (moms of prodigals).
Christy has served in women’s ministries for over thirty years. She loves to pray for the sick and minister one on one.
She resides in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina with her husband of more than forty-one years. They enjoy prayer walking in their town. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
